coordinates track label gets out of sync

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Closed (View Workflow)
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Labels:
      None
    • Environment:

This pertains to IGB 6.6 but probably applies to trunk, as well.

      Description

      To repeat:

      (1) Reset IGB to defaults.
      (2) Launch IGB.
      (3) Choose a species and genome for which no data set is configured to load automatically. (You may need to make a QL site for testing. I discovered this bug when working with Zea mays Mar 2010. I have not yet added any annotations to the QL site so you can probably use this for debugging purposes for a few more days.)
      (4) Grab the lower right corner of the IGB window and drag it down to expand the window.
      (5) Observe the Coordinates track label jumps out of place. (See attached.)

Passes Mac. Katy can you see if this is an issue for you? Try A. melanoleuca or A. gambiae

I used C. japonica as species.

if you try to re-size it small and large co-ordinate axes are out of sync and this every other options of window will disappear as the number of times increase.

            Failed 7.0 (11928) on windows.

Still not quite right. Use C. japonica as your species.

Make the main window as tall as possible. Then start lowering the egde of the main view towards the edge of the whole window.... Coordinates might stay at top. Begin raising it main view a little at a time. Coordinat axis and label jump to bottom. Keep going a little at a time. At some point the Coodinate label jumps back up but the axis does not. When main view is almost closed, start lowering in increments. The axis jumps back to the top.

The Coordinate axis should not move...
