            Please Re-assign or not as you see fit

            When loading a data track from file the name and path are being lower cased. This makes it hard to read camel cased names. Please leave as it is. I don't know when this started but it is in 6.6.3 (9418).

                  Passed V.13624, Mac, Java 1.06.0_37

                  File names and locations are left unchanged when displayed in IGB.
                  Tested with .gr .wig and .useq files:

                  http://bioviz.org/filerepo/gr/test1.gr (downloaded and modified name to tEsT1.gr then loaded locally)
                  http://bioviz.org/filerepo/testFile.wig
                  http://bioviz.org/filerepo/useq/chr17_H_sapiens_Mar_2006_StrandedReadCoverage_Graph.useq

                  Track Name locations checked for synchronization:

                  • Track label-PASSED
                  • 'Data Management Table' under 'Data Access' Tab-PASSED
                  • 'Available Data' data tree under 'Data Access' Tab-PASSED
                  • 'Tracks' Tab under 'Preferences'-PASSED

                  Camel case is described here:

                  See section titled "Current usage in programming."

                  He's talking about capitalization. If a graph or annotation file name contains upper case letters, he doesn't want them to be changed to lower case when displayed in IGB.

                  I am not even sure what the problem is! Where is he seeing the name and path? I mean, I would not be opposed to seeing the path for locally loaded files in the info tab, but I don't know what he is talking about.
