search doesn't work unless you visit the chromosome first

this affects IGB 6.5 and probably 6.6

      Description

I'm trying to look up genes in the mouse genome by using the search function.

However, the only way the search feature will work is if I first visit the chromosomes where the gene is located, even when I choose the search genome option.

      To repeat:

      (0) Reset prefs to defaults, restart IGB
      (1) Choose Mus musculus
      (2) Choose M_musculus_Jul_2007
      (3) Click search tab AND unclick "also search remotely"
      (4) Choose IDs or names, genome
      (5) enter query: Ctr9
      (4) click Search
      (5) observe no results appear
      (6) Click chr7
      (7) Observe gene models load from server
      (8) click Search
      (9) Observe IGB finds the gene
      (10) Click the row
      (11) Observe IGB moves to the location and also observe the search results disappear (this is another bug)

            It is behaving as expected.

To search the data it must be loaded or remote search should be turned on.

Also a issue on Windows v11935

You have to click the chromosome first before the search result appears. However the other issue (#11 from original post) of the search results disappearing is no problem now.

Failed on 7.0.0 (11884) Mac, still have to visit the chromosome first to get the correct search result.
