Changing default color in Preferences changes other tracks

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Closed (View Workflow)
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Labels:
      None
    • Environment:

      Build 8559

      Description

      To repeat:

      File->Preferences
      Choose Track Defaults
      Click default
      Click Foreground color swatch
      Choose a new color

      Note that the colors for the other file types change, unless they have been previously set by the user.

      What should happen is that changing a swatch in the default track row should affect only that row.

            I cannot reproduce this bug. Can you confirm this is reproducible and send the steps once more?

            Reset all preferences to defaults or launch IGB on a computer that has never run it.

            Still seems to be as issue.

            1.Pref -> Track Defaults
            2.Change FG color for default
            3.Click 'Add' to add any or several additional track defaults
            4.Additional track defaults show same color as default that you picked
            5.Try adding several more track defaults and choosing a FG color for each
            6.Then change the default FG color to a different color, at this point this change in default will not effect any other default tracks that have already been set.
