After changing some element of a track in the Preferences>Tracks tab, that track immediately de-selects; it shouldn't

            Description

            I am sending this to Ann first for approval:

            After selecting a track, and making a change - such as choosing to use color by strand, or choosing to make the label be 'name', the track immediately de-selects. This is annoying - often if I am changing 1 element of a track, I am changing MORE than 1 element - I would much rather the track I have selected remain selected so I can finish changes on it without having to re-select it each and every time.
