Remote search returns too many identical results

      Description

A remote search should not print out (in the table) every single hit if they have the same ID. Only a single hit on an ID should show - and it should be from the genome version currently loaded, from the refseq file (or the equivalent) if possible. Otherwise, whatever the first hit returned from the matching genome version will be fine.

I think you are already working on it.

It's probably done already. Test it out.

mostly done - still getting some doubling though...

load up A thal. search '07350' with search remotely checked. You get 6 hits to the currently loaded. The you get AV###, then BP6###, then BP807350 twice. Then DR207350 twice. Now, this is MUCH MUCH better - I just didn't know why sometimes there are doubles... If this is as good as it is going to get, it is fine though...

When you do a remote search it might return duplicate in case of following.

            1) Same gene can be present in more than one file.

            2) Same gene can be present on more than one chromosome. (This only happens if you search whole genome)

still an issue. Open Homo sapiens, remote search 'egfr', get back 48 hits - and most of those looks like duplicates...

So this is returning a hit for every single file within the server... ok, sucks but ok.
