Gui test: preferences > Data Sources

            Description

            make sure to try adding a normal web address (google for instance) to each of the server types. Make sure to test against non-sense web addresses, as well as just random 'junk' etc. If you need help with synonym files, read manual, and if it is still making no sense or you need more help, come find me.

                  Mac v10085

                  • Enabling and disabling of datasources works fine but has an issue with Enabling the Ensembl datasource similar to that in Windows which is reported as (IGBB-314)
                  • Activating and inactivating Auto load option works fine
                  • Inactivating the auto load and reactivating it has an issue similar to that in Windows which is reported as (IGBB-316)
                  • (BUG-276) also remains in Mac as in Windows
                  • Remove Button works fine
                  • Authentication button also works fine.
                  • Up and Down arrows also works accurately.

                  Personal Synonyms:

                  • All the text fields and Browse buttons work accurately.

                  Cache Settings:

                  • Cache dropdown box works fine.
                  • Clear cache button works accurately.

                  Windows v10038

                  Data Sources table/panel:

                  • Enabling data source throws exception (Pref -> Data Sources)
                    reported as bug (IGBB-308)
                  • Species with IGB quickload throws exception when activating Ensembl AND does not stop loading
                    reported as bug (IGBB-314)
                  • Species that Ensembl does not support AND that does not have IGB Quickload loses all information when Ensembl is activated
                    reported as bug (BUG-276)
                  • Auto load; activating/inactivating accurately works
                  • Inactivating 'Auto Load Data' (Pref->Data Sources) then reactivating removes current tracks from 'Data Management Table'
                    reported as bug (IGBB-316)
                  • Remove button
                  • Authentication... button
                  • Add button
                  • Up and down arrows
