Description
Maybe this is already possible, but I did not find it. My understanding is that a bookmark is nothing more than a URL. Could there be an option (under the Bookmarks menu) to copy the current position to the clipboard as a URL? That way, I could find something, get it on the clipboard, and paste it into a chat/email to a collaborator. This shouldn't take longer than half an hour, I would think.

Passed V.13751, Mac, Java 1.7.0_09
This is made possible by the option under 'Bookmarks' > 'Copy Bookmark to Clipboard'
It will produce a URL such as:
http://localhost:7085/UnibrowControl?version=A_thaliana_Jun_2009&seqid=chr1&start=30266395&end=30427670&loadresidues=false&&&create=2012%2F12%2F17+16%3A18%3A00&modified=2012%2F12%2F17+16%3A18%3A00
