Next search Span - this is only for when you do a search in the map range text box
(upper left) and there are multiple results.

Alyssa, what did you do to get it to fail? Can you give me a step by step recipe? In the mean time I'll try to work along the lines Lance suggests.

Debugging my changes I find that the ctrl X keystroke is, indeed, added to the appropriate maps. I haven't yet figured out how to get multiple results from the map range text box. Still trying, but a specific search from you would help me out.

There are four shortcuts I have not yet been able to add to the appropriate maps. They are:

            • ctrl R - RefreshDataAction (no singleton)
            • ctrl B - AddBookmarkAction (no singleton)
            • ctrl W - ExitSeqViewerAction (no singleton)
            • ctrl U - UCSCViewAction (external class, no singleton)

Interestingly, I do not see in the preferences any of the four key strokes mentioned above (ctrl R, ctrl B, ctrl W, or ctrl U). Neither do I find them in the menus. Yet they are returned in a call to the preferences for the keystrokes node.

I loaded human chromosome I and searched for "AT". Several spans were found and ctrl X key strokes worked fine.

The keystroke shortcut does NOT work as 'meta M' - please change to meta N/control N (provided that is not a windows operating system problem). Toolbar button and meta N work fine.

Did you fixed it? If it needs to be tested, assign to Alyssa.

Just the last issue remains - default needs to be changed. However, in a separate issue, the edgematch shortcut isn't working with any shortcut key, so it is likely a different issue (and so it is reported separately).
