There should ONLY be :
Hide
Show >
Customize... (this one opens to Pref> Other Options)
That is the only set of options you should have from right click!
The Coordinates sub-panel of Pref > Other options should have a second row:
Top row should be BG, FG, Track Label color.
Second row should be font size, then number format (both drop down boxes)

I agree that the three colors and labels should be adjustable by normal means, but then the entire rest of the annotations tab must be grayed out and unusable - including most of the buttons! The only things I see that should be ACTIVE are the Style sub-panel, and the 'other Options' button! But if you do that, then yes, just the number representation option is fine.
I think it's already doing it.
When you select coordinate track and open annotations, you are offered 'select all' and 'other options' buttons and that is all. You need to activat the Style sub-panel for coordinate axis
If you select the coordinate axis, it would enable other components.
It does not. Not on Windows, and not on my mac yesterday.

For me it's working fine on both Mac and Windows. Try on a different machine or ask Richard/Darius to check on their machine.
My bad... we need the Style sub panel is the annotations tab to be active for coordinate track!
Also right click menu should ONLY have "hide" "show" and "customize..." as possible active choices.
Annotation panel works. However, track label color is a valid option, but obviously doesn't change anything - do you want to disable it? or just leave it alone?
Also returning this to you for the right click menu changes.

Probably there should be only Number Format option only. Rest change changed from the track preferences.
