Description
When a gene is selected from a track right underneath the coordinates track there is a red outline around the selection but it is often incomplete on the top of the selection (see screenshot).
I believe this is happening because the selection is too close to the coordinates track. Increasing the window vertically will allow the outline to be drawn completely around the selection.
If we could somehow add a little more of a gap between the coordinates track and the track underneath it I think the problem would be fixed.

Maybe to fix this, we could use color to indicate selection.
For example, when we click a gene model, the model becomes yellow or red ... and no outline appears.
