BUG when selecting a gene

            Description

            Hi,
            I am using the current version(8.4.4). For Mouse genome, If I put gene "Vip" in the search box, and select "Vip" from the options which appear, the browser takes me to the gene Vipas39. I have observed this happening with some other genes as well, sorry I do not remember them, but will let you know if I find any more for debugging purposes.

                  Hello Sid,

                  Our team is currently looking into the bug that you reported to find a stable solution to the problem.

                  In the meantime, you can use the Advanced Search tab in IGB to search for and navigate to your desired gene model. I have attached a screenshot of an Advanced Search for "VIP" for your ocnvenience to show you how this tab works.
