Description
Same issues for all data tree files, password protected URLs(bed/bam/wig), and desktop filesbed/bam/wig)
BG color: successfully remembered.
Track name: BUG. Bookmark remembers a change to the track name, and when the bookmark is activated the track is properly named in the data management table, HOWEVER, the track label is not corrected unless you access the right-click menu and make some change to the track.
FG color: BUG. Same issue as name (and can be corrected in the same way). The additional odditiy is that the track label is always shown in the correct FG.
I would say that those 3 parameters are important to get right - those will be the most important in recreating the image as intended.
I would also add that the Max Depth would be an additional piece of information to add - that is very important when trying to show an image to someone (which is what bookmarks allow us to do) - but that is something that can wait. For the moment, IF possible, we need to fix the two effects that are OBVIOUSLY buggy (FG and name).
IF those parameters canNOT be fixed, then is it possible to just use the cache/defaults for these tracks and not worry about the color in the bookmarked image for now - I would rather have to change the colors and names by hand than have buggy behavior.
