      Description

For gene models, it is very useful to be able to see something on the intron connector lines that indicates direction of transcription (i.e., strand).

This doesn't matter so much when gene models are tiny (i.e., user is zoomed out) but when gene models occupy larger regions, it is more important because at higher zoom levels the only way you can tell what strand a feature is on is by (a) looking at the track label or (b) checking where it the track is located relative to the coordinates axis or (c) looking at the ends of the gene model or (d) clicking on it.

However, if you've set the track to "combine" option (showing + and - strand features in the same tier) then (b) doesn't work. And (c) only works if you are zoomed out far enough and if you are looking at the ends of the feature.

This feature debuted with IGB6 and contributes a lot toward helping make easy-to-understand images.

Let's restore this and make "arrow" the default style for BED detail files only.

'color by strand' was instituted to deal with issue. None the less, arrows are present.
