Description
The PostIts service is a URL shortening service similar to bit.ly, goo.gl, and t.co. It allows creation of pre-authenticated, disposable URLs to any resource in the Agave Platform. PostIts will allow us to implement a more secure way for users to access data within IGB from CyVerse.
Problem:
IGB can access public URLs, however, it requires that the URL end in the file type, most likely for parsing the file. PostIts do not end in the file type (PostIts example: https://public.agaveapi.co/postits/v2/f61256c53bf3744185de4ac6c0c839b4)
Task:
Investigate how IGB accesses and parses files from URL.
Identify possible methods for accessing PostIts.
