Remove un-needed files and references to same

          Description

          Developers new to the project find it hard to get to know the codebase in part because there are a lot of obsolete files.

          It would be helpful for new developers if they could be sure that everything in the code base is necessary for proper functioning of IGB.

          For this task, remove and/or edit:

          • .gitignore
          • install4j config file file and directory exclusions
          • IGB app code that is now separately version-controlled in other repositories

          Other tasks:

          • Move the final remaining 'optional' plugin to its own App repository - tutorial helper.
          • Follow up on findings from IGBF-1948

                To test:

                • Test the Linux installer to ensure it works correctly.

                This needs to be done because as part of this branch, I made changes to run_igb.sh, which may be used by the Linux installer.

                The changes:

                • Removed reference to a non existent image file.
                • Fixed what appeared to be a bug regarding how JVM property (-D) arguments were being passed to java.

                Checked the linux IGB installer and it is working fine.
                Also, everything is working fine even after the removal of optional plugin.
                Moving the ticket to DONE.
