target="_blank" will open a new tab and not a window.

There is only one way to open a new window i.e. by using Poput and window size, Please Refer:

We want an entirely new browser window (not tab) to open showing the downloads page.

There are two ways by which I can implement this feature.

• target="_blank": This is basically open a new tab in the same browser and will not be popup
• windown.open(url, 'popup', windowoptions): In this, there will be a popup if with all the features but there won't be any toolbar (Current Implementation)

Please let me know which implementation is expected, I'll make the changes and push it.

Change request:

When the new window opens showing the download page, please open a full-featured browser window. Currently, the page that opens does not have a URL bar or any of the other features normally associated with a browser window.

Changelog:

• Change the link to open https://bioviz.org/download.html instead of https://bioviz.org
• Open the link in a new browser window so that genome dashboard is still visible and not replaced with the download link
