Description
New developers on the project have let us know that they are having difficulties using the IGB "Main" project to run IGB within Netbeans.
For this task, investigate why this is happening. Look carefully at the POM to determine what the problem might be. Also check out older versions (e.g., the different igb releases) to determine when this problem was introduced.

Deleting and re-cloning the repository seemed to fix the "Netbeans not launching IGB" problem.
Separately, upon downloading the installers for a branch I was working on previously, the changes in the code were not being reflected in the version of IGB launched from the branch installers.
Resetting the preferences fixed this issue.
File > Preferences > Other Options > Reset Preferences to Defaults
My versions of Netbeans and the jdk are correct. I am trying to find out if the source of my problem is in the preferences for running IGB, or in a java cache somewhere. I have multiple versions of the jdk downloaded. I will investigate that too.
I am unable to reproduce this issue on my system. So for now, I think we can go ahead and close this issue, since Chirag Chandrahas Shetty and Prutha Kulkarni were able to solve it on Chirag's system.

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue on my system after I changed my NetBeans version. Let me try this tomorrow again on the older version of NetBeans and I shall provide an update on my behalf for the same.
Dr. [~aloraine], the issue was resolved for Chirag Chandrahas Shetty but I am not sure if the issue has been resolved on Logan Weidenhammer's system.
As the two issues were different as per Logan Weidenhammer's explanation, I just told her about the versions that we have maintained on Chirag Chandrahas Shetty's system.
Logan Weidenhammer, could you please comment on the ticket about the status?
