          Description

          Situation: As BioViz Connect is close to a 1.0.0 release, we need to design a plan for creating and releasing versioned branches into production.

          Task: Create a document for releasing versioned branches for BioViz Connect.

                Closing this issue for now as the initial documentation illustrates how we plan to move forward with versioning. As we move forward with release 1.0.0 documentation will be updated with additional details.
