Thank you, Nowlan Freese! I'll be following the "Release New Version" section from the "End-to-end testing IGB App deployment on IGB App Store" document to complete this ticket

I believe I need to be granted editor access to proceed with this app release. Ann Loraine or Nowlan Freese, could one of you help me with this?

Per the document I linked to in my comment above, there should be a way to login to the App Store as user "admin" which would grant edit access, but I only see the option to use my Google account to login. When I'm logged in with my Google account, I see the following error message upon submission of the new version of the app to the IGB App Store:

You are not authorized to add releases, because you are not an editor

Other odd behavior I noticed - although I saw that error when attempting to update the app and confirmed that the version of the app did not yet increment, I received an email from the App Store citing a successful submission:

Thank you for submitting the app!
The following app has been submitted:
            Name: SNP File Converter
            Version: 10.0.1
            Submitter: pkulzer pkulzer@charlotte.edu

I've resolved the above issue with Dr. Freese's help by reviewing IGBF-3667. We found an easier way to do these app submissions than was outlined in that ticket, so here are the steps that should be followed in the future when submitting a new version of an app to the IGB App Store:

            1. Navigate to the IGB App Store
            2. Login using your gmail
            3. Click the button that says "Submit App"
            4. Add the desired .jar file, then click Next
            5. Review the information on the next screen, then click Submit if it all looks good
            6. If you see a message that says "Congratulations!", then you don't need to do anything else. However, please proceed to the next step if you see the following error message: "You are not authorized to add releases, because you are not an editor"
            7. Open a new tab and go to this URL: https://apps.bioviz.org/admin
            8. Login as user "admin" (see End-to-end testing IGB App deployment on IGB App Store)
            9. Click "Apps"
            10. Click on the name of the app that you're attempting to update
            11. CAREFULLY scroll through the list of users until you find your name but DO NOT CLICK ON YOUR NAME YET. Make sure to COMMAND+CLICK on your name (otherwise everyone else's access will be removed).
            12. Click SAVE
            13. Repeat steps 1-6

I've confirmed that the version number has incremented from 10.0.0 to 10.0.1 in both the IGB App Store as well as in IGB. I've also made sure that the app still functions as expected in IGB by installing the new version of the SNP File Converter from the App Store repository, running a test file through the app, then visualizing the resulting SNPs along the human genome.

For review, please take a look at the procedure I've outlined above and let me know if anything needs clarifying. Also, please double check that the app is functioning as expected in IGB.

Tested on IGB 10.0.1 release and main branch installer. The SNP File Converter version 10.0.1 is available through the App Manager and the IGB App Store. Able to install through the App Manager as well as https://apps.bioviz.org/apps/23andMe-snp-converter#. SNP File Converter description is now in line with the name of the app (SNP File Converter). The icon now appears in the IGB > Tools menu when installed.

            Closing ticket.
