I have been using several different programs lately and one thing I noticed is that many of them make use of the "Delete" key found on all standard keyboards. This can be a very useful key since deleting things is such a common action in many programs.
One of the great things about IGB is its ability to quickly add or remove tracks from the IGB main display. I think we could enhance this ability by making use of the "Delete" key on keyboards. It could work like this:
A user selects a track and hits the "Delete" key. A Confirmation box would appear (the same one as if you selected the Delete action from the context menu). The user could then select "Ok" or simply hit "Enter" to delete the track.
This would make deleting a bunch of tracks an extremely quick process because a user could just hit "Delete, enter...delete, enter...etc."
I don't think this feature request is high priority, by any means, but I do think that its the little details in the program that makes some users love or hate a program and I think since the "Delete" key is on most keyboards, we should take advantage of this keyboard shortcut.
