Description
When a user opens the IGB Manager and selects an App in the left-side panel, the user should see a description of the App. Currently, the text is light gray and is hard to read.
Ann Loraine and saideepthi jagarapu both observed the same issue on their computers.
Ann Loraine's machine is an Apple M3 running Sonoma 14.3.
For this task:
- Check older versions of IGB to determine when this bug appears - check version 10.0.0 and then versions 9 and below
- Investigate if the same issue appears on other OS and chip types? (It might be platform-specific.)
- Also, please investigate how this error escaped our testing process! (It might be platform specific.) Look at the testing we did for App Manager. See: https://wiki.bioviz.org/confluence/display/ITD/10.0.0
See attached screen capture showing an image created in 2018 that appears in the smoke testing guide. Compare that to the same view from the App Manager window shown in IGB 10.2.0. Notice how the text is hard to read in the current App Manager but not the older version from 2018.

Investigating pluginInfoTemplate.html and bootstrap.min.css
On my laptop screen, the text isn't quite as faint looking as on a big screen.
The issue appears to be with how the Helvetica neue font is rendered on Mac. Changing the font to Helvetica appears to resolve the issue. There was a change from bootstrap v3.3.5 to v3.4.1 when we updated to JDK21, but rolling back the change made no difference in appearance. I also tried changing the font-weight, but it was either too light or too bold.

To test:
View the App Manager within IGB, make sure that text is legible. Would be good to test this on Windows as well as Mac.
Question: Is there a Windows installer for the branch that we could quickly check before proceeding to a PR?
Also, to be kinder to Atlassian (since they are giving us lots of free stuff) I recommend deleting a bunch of your old branch installers from the Downloads section of your fork. I bet they would appreciate it since there are probably many Gbs of obsolete installers in that location 
!

Tested the branch on Windows. The text is legible and clearly rendered with no faint text.
Tested on Mac, Windows, Linux with Karthik.

App Manager app text now is readable on mac. Moving to DONE.
