          Description

          To Reproduce: Open IGB, Open Human Genome, Go to "genome" in the chromosome table.

          Observe: IGB is not frozen, but the interface is not responsive. Clicking on quick search or anything else does nothing. Again IGB is not frozen but it is not telling us that it is working either. A user may mistake this as a frozen application and force quit the application.
