      Sprint 23

      Description

The following steps will lead to the inability to remove a DataProvider permanently.

      1. Add a valid data provider
      2. Edit its url to point to another valid data provider
      3. Select this data provider in the table
      4. click remove
      5. Restart IGB - note: the dataProvider will show up in the list

The impact of this bug is not dramatic since its easy enough to ignore these providers, but its a serious bug.

Working around for IGB 8.4.0: Resetting preferences to remove all non-default entries.

If a typo is made when editing a valid URL then tracks loaded from the data source do not get removed but the data source is disabled. This would be alright, however, when removing the disabled data source the loaded track persists even though there is no longer a data source for the loaded track.
