When I click on an insertion (red box on top of read alignment) I'm supposed to be able to get the sequence of the insertion by selected the Selection Info table, as in this documentation:

However, this no longer happens.
Instead, what happens is that the information for the read appears and the bottom row of the Selection Info table reads: "feature type " "insertion".
The previous behavior should be restored for the next minor release if possible.

This story has changed a bit in in that we are now choosing to filter out unnecessary read information from selection info when selecting an insertion.
It turned out the the sequence of the insertion was actually present in the selection info but all of the other unnecessary information made this field harder to notice.
Testing for this issue consisted of checking selection info for insertions to verify that unnecessary read information had been removed. I also verified that the sequence of reads was accurate and that no other valuable information was removed.
Since this issue is resolved it will now be closed.
I am not sure what information is missing from Selection Info table. I can see residue in Selection. Need to discuss this.
