Sequence Axis is not always visible when changing chromosomes

            Description

            Strange behavior noticed when changing chromosomes (see screencast). It seems like the sequence axis is not always visible upon changing chromsomes, but the visibility is random. Sometimes chromsomes appear with the sequence axis and other times the same chromsome appears without the sequence axis.
