[OLD-45] display names not correct when taken from file names with > 1 "." character - JIRA UNCC

The display name is incorrectly displayed. Everything before the last "." character should appear as part of the display name.

To repeat:

(0) Reset prefs to default
(1) Run IGB and choose genome version A_thaliana_Jun_2009
(2) Add these two data sets:

(Note: difference in file name is "sm" or "mm" - stands for multi versus single mapping reads)

(3) Observe two tracks appear, but the names are both CoolHT2. They should be CoolHT2.sm and CoolHT2.mm

No work has yet been logged on this issue.
