index semantic zoom freezes at transition

            Description

            same track as https://igbjira.uncc.edu/jira/browse/IGBC-233

            • A thaliana
            • delete the TAIR10 track
            • select the cold track (see other ticket)
            • horiz zoom to the right
            • as soon as it hits the autoload point where it switches to
              detail, the program freezes for several seconds. This did not
              happen with the h sapiens BAM files that I tried, they were smooth.
