Description
Test this on a slow internet connection or using a genome where it takes a while for the gene models to load, such as blueberry.
Select a genome from start screen or from the Current Genome tab.
As soon as IGB switches to showing the new genome, run a search.
Observe what happens.
Does the rolling status bar start to roll and roll?
What happens if you try to cancel the load?

Description |
Probably this will need to be tested on a slow internet connection or using a genome where it takes a while for the gene models to load, such as blueberry. What happens is: If a user selects a genome but then tries to search for a gene BEFORE the "Loading whole feature" message disappears, the rolling status bar continues to roll and roll and roll and never stops. The only way to recover is to quit IGB and start over. |
