Adding server with '=' or '?' in the address causes strange behavior, including sending information into the Species list!

            Description

            Adding "http://bioserver.hci.utah.edu:8080/DAS2DB/genopub?idAnnotation=3485" generated an error message that got sent to the species list.

            Adding "www.transvar.org?=" as the server got added as if it were correct and responding, then sent the ENTIRE contents of the page to the species list!!!

                  First server URL adds without throwing the error. The second URL (www.transvar.org?=) causes IGB to completely lock up for a while, then throws the error to species again...

                  It gives the errors in red BUT it keeps trying - the loading bar keeps rolling and the status flips between "Adding Your server name" and "Loading your server name (quickload)"
