wrong status bar messages

            Description

            sometimes the messages in the status bar are incorrect, old messages not
            being updated, etc.

                  H sapiens, load IGIS.gff. Zoom in until it loads data, zoom out, etc a few times. Notice that the status bar is now set to 'Loading details for IGIS Models.gff region....'.

                  ow switch to A thal, load up a bunch of files. Notice that the bottom status persists, even after loading other files.

                  Passed V.13816, Mac, Java 1.7.0_10

                  The instance mentioned by Alyssa passed without issues.

                  Other instances have not been mentioned but will be closely followed as further testing is performed on other bugs.
