Opening 'Slice View' tab causes the status bar to appear and it never goes away

            Description

            Windows v12046

            Arab_Thal_2009
            Zoom in and select a gene
            Open the 'Sliced View' panel
            Everything looks normal in the panel, but the status bar and the cancel button appears. It does not look like it is loading anything and they never go away.

                  Opening 'Sliced View' displays a cancel button, progress bar, and text stating: "slice and dice" in the very bottom left of the main window while loading the 'Sliced View' Tab but they disappear when the tab is fully loaded. See attached image "Sliced View.png"
