Cannot start a new 'unknown Species/genome' using drag and drop

            Description

            It used to be that if you dragged in a file while set to the start page, it would create a new 'unknown' genome. Then after dragging in a bunch of files, if you went back to the start (ie click 'Species') the next file dragged and dropped would create a new unknown genome (unknown genome 2, etc.). Currently, it is piling them all into the same unknown genome, even after going to the start screen.
