Description
When you drag a floating track onto another track (fixed one), and then relase the mouse button so the track will stay at this position the underlying track gets also selected. This is not good. Often you want to change the appearance, scaling etc. of the floating track only. Then you have to drag it again to a place where it does not overlap, change its appearance and drag it back. Or you do this before you dragged it there if you know of the problem.
It would be good if only the dragged track stays selected after dragging, not the underlying ones.
But how would one select both tracks or just one from overlayed tracks?
Maybe look at how painting applications solve this problem. Eg. shift click to select into the layers or similar.
Or split the track indicator to indicate the layering, or move it into the track field or stack them to the right
