Feature Request:
-A user can clickdrag on the sequence axis in IGB to select a sequence but sometimes a user may want to select non-contiguous sequences in order to determine the length of a transcript or to highlight more than one region of interest at a time to show their audience (look at attached screenshot where I was only able to select a sequence on one side of the differentially expressed region but I wish I could have selected a region on the other side as well as it would have made more sense to my audience.)
-It would be nice if a user could select a sequence on the sequence axis, zoom in/out or whatever they wanted, and then hold shift (or another key) and select a different region on the sequence axis so that they have selected non-contiguous parts of a sequence. Then they could right click and "Copy Selected Sequence to Clipboard" or "Open Sequence in Sequence Viewer...". I am still not sure if it is best for the sequence viewer to show the sequence between your selection in white with the ability to concatenate the sequence to remove unselected regions of the sequence from the sequence viewer or to only show the selected sequences in the sequence viewer (and ignore the unselected regions between selections).
