Trouble loading custom reference genome

            Hi! I am trying to load Escherichia coli str. K-12 substr. MG1655, complete genome GenBank: U00096.3 as my reference genome. I can download the genome from NCBI as a genbank (gbk) or a FASTA but IGB will only let me open the genome as a FASTA. When I do this, IGB only displays the nucleotide sequences and not the gene annotations. I see that IGB will allow me to open fna files but I am not sure how to get that file type. Also, I see IGB has Escherichia coli str. K-12 substr. MG1655 from Jan 2012 as a reference but I couldn't find out what version/ GenBank number this was.
