While testing (on Windows), I noticed that the native file chooser now being used for choosing a local data provider does not allow a folder to be selected, only files can be opened. When I click "Open" on a Quickload folder or double-click it in the file chooser, instead, the file chooser goes deeper into the folder. I compared this to the non-native file chooser and it does allow a folder to be opened; the "Open" button opens the folder, but you can go deeper into the folder by double-clicking it. Since opening folders with the file chooser is critical to adding a local data provider, I am reassigning this issue to David and moving it back into the To-Do column.
Testing for this issue included:
-Verifying that the Choose Local Data provider feature is now using the native file chooser.
-Verifying that the file chooser defaults to the user's home folder.
-Verifying that the file chooser remembers the last used directory, even between sessions.
-Verifying that the file chooser remembers the last used filename, even between sessions.
-Verifying that no file chooser functionality has been adversely affected by this change (files are opening/saving properly, etc.)
