      Description

It would appear that Chromosome.txt files on remote Quickload sites are not being picked up by IGB. Foir local quickload sites, the feature is working, but only if the user adds the Chromosome.txt on the Data Sources tab of IGB Preferences under the Personal Synonyms section.

I am not able to test and determine what could be causing valid chromosome.txt files on IGB Quickload to be ignored by IGB because I am not able to edit text files on a remote Quickload site, but I do have evidence that this feature is broken:

The following link will take you to the T. castaneum genome on IGB Quickload, which has a chromosome.txt file, but when I load this genome in IGB you can see that the chromosomes are not appearing as synonyms, as they should, but instead they are appearing as separate chromosomes (see attached screenshot). Here is the link: http://igbquickload.org/T_castaneum_Mar_2008/

This is an important issue to fix and was recently reported to us by a user, so we have good reason to look into this at some point in the near future.
