          Description

          The goal of this on-boarding ticket is for you to take a deep dive into the fork-and-branch workflow we use in the IGB project, and how we manage tasks using Jira from Atlassian.

          Review the following modules from the on-line IGB programming class:

          • Module 4 - Workflow
          • Module 5 - Git

          Completing Module 5 will take the most time! Do the git branching tutorial, read the branching workflow explanation, and watch the git power routines video.

          Take the "git quiz" from Module 5 and make a note of it here. If you had any questions or comments about the quiz, make a note of them here.

                Done with the quiz.
                The quiz covers both easy and medium questions. It includes commonly used operations by developers, with the last two questions being particularly tricky, involving revert, reset, and rebase commands.

                Done with the quiz! It covered realistic scenarios I might face while working with Git in IGB and in general, and it effectively tested the knowledge I gained from the modules. The quiz included a few tricky questions at the end, particularly involving rebase and squash.
