      Description

Dr. Loraine had pointed out that users may have difficulty locating their downloaded IGB JNLP file when downloading the file using the Safari web browser. This is what happens when downloading using Safari:

      1) You click the "Download" button to download the IGB JNLP file.
-Observe: The "downloads arrow" in the top-right corner of Safari flashes briefly and then looks the same as it did before the download (A user may not notice this).
      2) You can click on the JNLP file using the "downloads arrow", but if that list were to be cleared a user must locate the JNLP file, but where is it?
-Observe: Safari downloads the IGB JNLP file to an unusual temporary folder labeled "T" (A user may not know how to get here).

This behavior was experienced on 3 different Mac computers:
-My Office Mac Desktop (Mac OS X 10.9.4 using Safari 7.0.5 [9537.77.4])
-My Office Mac Laptop (Mac OS X 10.9.2 using Safari 7.0.3 [9537.75.14])
-Dr. Loraines Mac Laptop (Mac OS X 10.9.4 using Safari 7.0.6 [9537.78.2])

*Also, a brief examination of Safari's Java Applet Plug-Ins revealed that there is no "application/x-java-jnlp-file"(view attached screenshot). I pointed this out just in case this is the root of the problem.

So, the IGB documentation needs to incorporate a "How to locate a JNLP file downloaded using Safari" page in which it :
      1. briefly explains the problem
      2. gives instructions on how to get Safari to download JNLP files into the "Downloads" directory (see comment).

Safari users trying to download the igb.jnlp file may experience frustration since Safari downloads JNLP files into an uncommon directory (/private/var/.../T). This is due to the fact that Safari does not have a MIME type associated with JNLP files.

*To get Safari to download JNLP files into the "Downloads" directory:
            1) Open Safari preferences and click on the "General" tab.
            2) Uncheck the "Open "safe" files after downloading" box.
Observe: JNLP files now get downloaded to the "Downloads" folder.
