I think the Daphnia genomes need to be pushed to the subversion repository before this issue can be fully tested.

Change requests:

• Please change URL attributes so clicking "i" in the "Available Data" section opens the Quickload directory in the user's browser. This is so that they will see the "HEADER.md" file and be able to track down the origins of the files. (Note this only works if you serve the data from a Web server – unfortunately this makes it hard to see how it will look before deployed on-line!)

• Within the HEADER.md file, please give links that were used to download (1) sequence data (2bit or fasta used to create the 2bit) and (2) annotation file (GFF or other file that was then converted to bed-detail). Please indicate the URL or location the file that was converted to IGB-friendly format so that we can re-do the conversion later if required.

• Please name the BED-Detail annotations files after the genome version, e.g., D_magna_Apr_2010.bed.gz instead of Daphnia_magna.daphmag2.4.44.bed.gz

• Please modify genome.txt for D_magna_Apr_2010 so that chromsomes/scafolds are sorted by size, larger scaffolds near the top.

• D_pulex_Feb_2011 annotations don't appear to have descriptions. Probably this is because there are none! But I wanted to make note of this just in case. Same for D_pulex_Sep_2016.

Suggestion:

• Maybe install apache (or other Web server?) on your laptop to see how the HEADER files are going to look in a user's browser.

All changes have been made and uploaded to dropbox.

D_pulex_Feb_2011 does have descriptions for some gene models, though many are NA. No descriptions were available for D_pulex_Sep_2016.

Add with revision 108 to https://svn.bioviz.org/viewvc/genomes/quickload/. Not yet deployed on live Quickload sites.
