I created a cyverse account as I didn't have one. I uploaded below URL given by Dr. Freese for testing.

Observations:

• The dropdown title on https://bvctest6.bioviz.org have changed. For Species its "Species" and for version its "Genome Version".
• After selecting species and genome version they can be retrieved after opening the metadata panel.

Files with improper metadata added for the species and genome version fields are expected to be limited to our (BV connect developers) accounts as per discussion 10/19/21 w/ KR, AL, NF.

Testing Protocol:
Cosmetic Change: Please check if the dropdown titles have been changed
Functionality Change: Save species as "Species and version as "Genome Version" as check if it is retrieved in when metadata panel is opened again.

All three changes below were made
Change Genome Version to:Choose species, then genome version
Change Species... to: Species
Change Version... to: Genome Version

Note: In some cases, in the file metadata, the species and version was saved as "Species..." and "Version..." itself. So when metadata is retrieved from Cyverse, the dropdowns will have those values which may seem like an error in the UI but its not. Its saved values being retrieved.

Another improvement was added in this commit: A "Species" option is added to the dropdown so that the user can select and save that if they are are unsure of the species and version.
