To test: Follow the instructions in the tutorial as written and make note of any confusions or doubts that may arise. Be sure to be not logged to Confluence when testing to simulate what a user sees.

            I'm seeing two issues:

            1. The images are not showing up in other browsers or while in incognito mode. May need to re upload the images.
            2. I cannot edit the pages, I can only create new pages. This discussion may be informative.

            UPDATE

Dr. Loraine updated the permissions so that I can now edit the pages. This also allowed me to fix the images. I had to re-add the images to the page, but they are now showing correctly.

Thank Nowlan Freese for the info. I have just now configured your user which should allow you to edit all pages in the user's guide. Please give it a try and let me know.

Update: I changed this and instead modified permissions for the group "loraine lab". This will have the same effect and be easier to manage long term.

            Additional Testing:

There was a previous ticket (IGBF-1174) where the IGB desktop shortcut icon was not working correctly in Ubuntu 17.04. When I tested on Ubuntu 16.04 the desktop icon was working correctly. Omkar Marne - please test if the IGB desktop icon is working on your Linux machine (note the version of Linux).

            Tested on Ubuntu 20.04.1.

If I close the IGB, the desktop icon disappears.
It opens through terminal using './IntegratedGenomeBrowser' command but doesn't open through double clicking the icon. Please check attached screenshots
            The graphic is blank.

            Dr. Nowlan Freese Please check.

Tested installation guide on Ubuntu 20.04.1.

As per Ubuntu website, whenever you install any software in Ubuntu 20.04.01, the software icon will be inactive at first because of security reasons. To make it active we need to right click on the icon and select 'Allow Launching' option.

I did that and IGB icon works on Ubuntu 20.04.1.

Please check attached snapshots. Closing the ticket.
