Description
There are several improvements that I would suggest should be made to bioviz.org to make it a bit more accessible. Specifically, being intentional about linking users to IGB YouTube tutorials/past workshops as well as pointing users to where they can find the next IGB workshop/demo would help users address any issues they're having more effectively. Here's a few ideas I had:
- Add the most recent version of IGB and its release date. This should signal to users that IGB is still being supported/improved and that they can reach out to us for help!
- In the Help tab, add a new section pointing users to the IGB YouTube channel tutorials. (Here is an example of what I'm imagining that might look like: https://genome.ucsc.edu/training/).
- Similarly, add a section with information about upcoming (and possibly past) trainings/workshops that we're hosting with links and dates and locations. This might also include links to screen recordings of past workshops, too.
