          Description

          Situation: Similar to the UCSC REST API (see IGBF-3129) that provides access to genomes and their annotations, Ensembl appears to also have an API that we may be able to access in order to add additional genomes and annotations to IGB.

          Task: Investigate and if possible implement a new module for consuming data from Ensembl API.
