Description
IGB is appending the QL genome version root URL to file names in the Annots.xml that point to a URL.
From Ann:
If “name” points to a URL then IGB shouldn’t append the QL genome version root URL to it. But it looks like IGB 8.4 is doing that.
IGB 8.3.4 is doing the expected thing, however.
Also, note that user supplied XML file has attributes and child elements not recognized by IGB. The IGB 8.4 parser is able to tolerate these, apparently. The iGB 8.3.4 parser can’t, but it gives very useful and informative error messages, which I appreciated very much. Many kudos to the developer who implemented this! Thanks to that, it was very easy to debug their annots.xml file.
