Description
In IGBF-673 we decided that the default sorting of chromosomes in the current genome tab should be defined by the order seen in the genome.txt file.
While this is a good temporary solution, this may not be the best implementation. In the future we should change this to most logical order for users which would be starting with Chr1, then Chr2, Chr3, etc.
After the numbered chromosomes are listed appropriately we should then list the chromsomes with letters ("ChrX, ChrY, ChrC, ChrM").
After that we should include all of the "weird chromosomes" which there are often a lot of (for example "chr15_KI270905v1_alt").
At the end we should include "Genome" (and I think this should be capitalized).

IGBF-673 Chromsomes may not be sorting correctly under the Current Genome Tab for D. rerio
- Closed
One solution for fixing this would be to reorder our genome.txt files appropriately to ensure that the proper order is seen in the Current Genome tab.
This would be ok, however it may be better for IGB to intelligently handle the sorting of genome.txt files that may come from other users. If it did however, this might prevent users from creating a custom order in their genome.txt file that they want seen in the Current Genome tab.
