      Description

Start IGB. There should be no errors.
      Go to A_thaliana_Jun_2009.
Go to Search View. Search for "Matching IDs or Names" in "genome" for "EG510482". Search remotely as well.
You should see one remote match for "gb|EG510482" on "EST (multiple map)" on "chr1".
Go to Bioviz(DAS2) and load data for "EST (multiple map)", choose load mode as "Whole Chromosome" on "chr1".
Go to Search View. Search for "Matching IDs or Names" in "genome" for "EG510482". Search remotely as well.
You should now see one remote and several local matches for "gb|EG510482" on chr1.
Right click on "EST (multiple map) " and choose "Adjust Max Expand" and set it to 0.
Click on the search results and look for the corresponding highlighted region in the display, zoom in to look at it closely.
Check that the highlighted region for one search result should be complete rectangle and any part of it should not be included in any other search result. This is to verify that the search results should not be redundant.

      Reviewed; working as currently expected.

There remains a server query problem, but this will be addressed in a later version and written up as a separate test case (re: John Nichol)

Step 6 gives 13 local matches and 1 remote matches, and that is from "EST (multiple map)" on "chr1".

      for IGB version: 6.3 (6555)

Step 6 gives 1 remote matches, and that is from "EST (multiple map)" on "chr1".

version: 6.2.2 (6020) - fails to load Bioviz DAS2 server

      IGB Version: : 6.3.1 (6884)

The search view has display problem, it appears as in the screen capture below:

This problem occured when the search view was opened after loading the FASTA file, though the test case does not mentions to do so, but still this might be a scenario.

The test case is redone, bioviz DAS2 is up but still the same results.

      Sep 09, 2010

      Vikram Bishnoi

Steps 1-6 were all fine, but in step 7 only one match was found for "gb|EG510482" on chr1.

In IGB version 6.2.2 (6020) - no matches were found

But while loading 6.3 it says bioviz das2 sever is not responding. It might be the possible reason.

This test case to be redone after a while.
