I assume I fork from the BitBucket and then make changes, compile, test and request pull?

Yes, if you would have time to look into it, that would be terrific.

If you do that, please make a branch for any changes you'd like to make & then push the branch up to your fork. From there, you can issue a pull request from your branch to the master branch on the team (main) repository.

Also, if you want to build an installer for your branch (using Install4J & bitbucket pipelines) let me know. There are some extra steps you would need to do for that. Or I can fork your fork and build the installer for you. (Gets a bit complicated but not too hard

just tracking it down with some breakpoints at the moment. Probably tell the assigned issue handler that I am on it, so we don’t do double work.

I set it up with NetBeans atm.

Do you know people that could verify whether File System access via e.g. loading a genome is possible on other platforms?

I have tracked the issue down to a synchronisation issue related probably to JavaFX or Mac OSX or something or a combination of them all.

Furthermore, the damaged DMG adds even more confusion. Oh well!

Note: He was probably having trouble with the installation on Mojave bug others noticed, in addition to something else.
