GUI test: Preferences Short cuts

            Description

            Make sure all pre-set short cuts work. Assign short cut keys to EVERY function and ensure they work as expected (short cuts do NOT get set until the program is shut and re-opened... do NOT reset preferences!) Try adding the same short cut to multiple keys.

                  All the predefined shortcuts have been tested and they were fine and all the user defined shortcuts to the other functionalities worked fine and the duplicate shortcuts were also restricted so Preferences > Shortcuts menu (v9908) got passed on Mac

                  Pre-set short cuts

                  • All working

                  Setting new short cuts

                  • After entering a key stroke clicking 'Ok' throws error
                    reported as bug (IGBB-295)
                  • 'Bookmark manager' key strokes save, but do not work
                    reported as bug (IGBB-297)
                  • Clear button works

                  General

                  • clicking within the panels does not throw errors
                  • clicking buttons on and off does not throw errors

                  Button function

                  • each button can be used properly
                  • after use, removal does not throw errors

                  Pre-set keystroke shortcuts

                  • On Mac, all 'cntl' resets to 'meta'
                  • All work

                  Set keystroke shortcuts

                  • all settable without error
                  • all settings remembered and functional
